When most young cricketers at 19 struggle hard to get selected in the state team, there is Rishabh Pant got selected as a captain for Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The selectors took away Delhi Captaincy from Gautam Gambhir and gave it to him. Pant made an impressive IPL debut last year for Delhi Daredevils and turned into the third-youngest batsman to score a triple-century.

The youngster is currently practicing for the inter-zonal T20 cricket tournament. He takes this as a positive opportunity to learn from the seniors like Gambhir, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ashish Nehra.

Pant is happy and confident as he got the captaincy under them and he can discuss with the senior players as they share a good rapport with the team.
